Healthy Surprise is a monthly service that delivers packages of vegan, gluten-free, all natural organic snacks directly to your door. Every month you receive a box filled with different kinds and sizes of healthy organic snacks; this will ultimately have you trying thing you may have never tried before.
I honestly love how nicely packed this Healthy Surprise box was I was almost tempted not to mess with the prettiness. *giggles* I can tell by opening this box that Healthy Surprise takes absolute pride in not only the products they put into the box but how nicely it's packed. After all the first appearance means a lot!
I received a little pamphlet that goes along with this months box, it's very informative. First it speaks about knowing your nutrients such as organic and inorganic nutrients. I did not know until now that organic nutrients are also known as "macronutrients" macro=big. There are 5 essential nutrients our bodies need; Fatty Acids, Amino Acids, Carbohydrates, Vitamins, and Dietary minerals! Honestly though switching to organic foods will not only make you feel good, it also helps properly nourish your body.
If you would like to read more onto that here is your more then welcome to read it on the Healthy Surprise Blog.
The second thing the pamphlet mentions is a yummy smoothie called Shannon's Sexy Smoothie. I would love to share this recipe with you and if you happen to try it I would also love to here what you think.

Hail Merry coconut macaroons were seriously delicious as you all know I am addicted to coconut. These were so soft and packed with coconut deliciousness. Whole Foods Market has them which is a major WOOT!
Beanitos white bean with sea salt chips were great. Well the one chip I was actually able to eat since my little girl took the bag, which leads me to believe she loved them. The bean taste was not overpowering which is great I'm not a huge bean person and the sea salt was nummy.
The Daily Crave veggie chips my daughter absolutely devoured them, she is very big into veggie chips and is very picky when it comes to trying different brands of veggie chips.
Lydia's Organics rawkin spicy beet chips I honestly have not tried yet, I haven't been in a beet type of mood.
Nibnaks crancherry tart were a great greek yogurt add on. I mixed some in with my yogurt and it was great. I don't really eat things like this right out the bag I usually mix it with either yogurt or cereal. So I must say it was very good.
Just Tomatoes I truthfully did not like. Don't get me wrong I love tomatoes I just don't like how overpowering this tomato taste was it was like I was eating ketchup. Which by the way I don't eat. *giggles*
Caveman Nuts were a mixture of sunflower seeds, almonds pistachios, walnuts, cashews, and macadamia nuts. I'm assuming they were mighty delicious because my fiance and our daughter were practically fighting over the bag. *giggles*
Just Fruit pear and cranberry bar I honestly wasn't to fond of, but I did let my little try it Yani isn't to fond of cranberries but Jowell is a major fruit addict and he loved it. It's definitely not thin like most fruit bars and it was mighty chewy.
Just Great Stuff organic cacao acai bar was absolutely yummy. At first I though that it wouldn't be because the mixture of acai and cacao, but to my surprise I loved it. After making the switch to organic foods I have fallen in love with cacao!
Plum Kids organic mashup is was a major hit with Yani. I packe these as a snack for school a few times and she comes home talking about how great her snack was and the yumminess.
Okay so I didn't mention the third thing the pamphlet went over, I figured I'd save that for last with the last snack that came in this box. Gopal's Brownie this was my favorite snack out of the box and yes it's organic. They are made of organic walnuts, organic dates, organic carob powder, organic coconut and organic orange peel. These brownie's are the perfect snack size and to be honest I need to buy some more I love them!
